Chinese tech firm Tencent announced Thursday that it has begun recruiting participants for the beta test of its mobile game Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World, set to launch on Dec. 19. The game, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), is developed by Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios and authorized by Japanese publisher Square Enix. According to the recruitment Q&A, testers must have at least 21GB of storage space available on their phones. The test is limited to players aged 18 and older, with those under 18 ineligible to participate. [Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World, in Chinese]
